Nancy Overson, Executive Director
Nancy was born in Murray, Utah and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1960. She and her husband, Les, have been happily married for 30+ years. Together they have 5 adult boys; and have been blessed with wonderful grandchildren. She enjoys dogs...especially the Maltese breed. Her hobbies include indoor/outdoor gardening, camping and spending time with her family. She has been a Licensed Practical Nurse since 1981, has a certificate in Massage Therapy, a Chiropractic Physician’s Assistant certificate and is Wound Care Certified. Nancy also has a BS degree in holistic nutrition. Nancy is very excited to open the first Legacy community in Nevada…Legacy House of Centennial Hills.
Emely Bitanga, Marketing Director
Emely was born in the Philippines, and migrated at the age of 12 to Hawaii. She was introduced to the medical field during a summer program in high school working as a nurse's aide. After moving to Las Vegas in 1996, Emely managed a group home, and joined the United States Army, which open many doors and lead her to Legacy House of Centennial HIlls. Emely has 2 daughters and a son, whom she is very proud of. Some of her favorite hobbies are hiking, traveling, gardening, and cooking. She believes that creating relationships and touching the heart of everyone she meets, leads to many blessings.
Wayne Johnson, Assisted Living Manager
Wayne Jackson is from Brooklyn, New York and his parents are from South America. Wayne moved to Las Vegas in 1995. Wayne has been in the health care industry for over 30 years, working as a CNA and also as the Director of Housekeeping in a skilled nursing facility. He loves working with the elderly because it gives him a purpose in life. Wayne attended Wayne State University for Business Administration. He is the seventh of ten children and has two children and five grandchildren of his own. Wayne loves to travel. Visits to Japan and Dubai are both on his "bucket list" of places he'd like to visit someday. Wayne looks forward to learning more about management in his new role at Legacy House of Centennial Hills.
Timinique Smith, Administrative Assistant
Though she was born in Chicago, Illinois, Timinique considers Las Vegas, Nevada home. Prior to joining the Legacy House of Centennial Hills team, Timinique worked as a caregiver for residents with memory loss and later in the hotel industry. It was her love for seniors that prompted her return to senior living. Timinique learns something each day from the residents at Legacy--something you just can't learn in a classroom. Timinique strives to put family first by spending time with her half-siblings, nieces and nephews. She also has a dog named Bentley, a Shih Tzu mix. Timinique likes to go to the movies, listen to music and play her favorite computer game, the Sims.
Yvette Olmedo, LPN--Resident Care Coordinator
Yvette was born and raised in Manila, Philippines and migrated to the United States in 1999. She is a Licensed Practical Nurse and has provided care for seniors since graduating from nursing school. Yvette was raised by her grandparents and taught to always honor them. Her grandparents also taught her the importance of caring for others. She has great respect and compassion for people, especially elders, which is one of the reasons she enjoys what she does. Yvette’s philosophy is that her relationship with God comes first. Her leisure time is always spent with her family. In her spare time, Yvette enjoys listening to music and watching Korean dramas on television. Yvette loves the color pink.
Antone Kawaauhau, Dining Services Director
Antone was born in Hilo on the big island of Hawaii. He started his culinary career at Maunalani Bay Hotel & Bungalows, where he worked for several years. In 1999, he, along with his family, moved to Las Vegas. It was a big change for Antone but he enjoyed his work as a banquet cook and later as a chef working at Station Casino. In addition to many years of kitchen experience, Antone also has an associates degree in culinary arts. Antone and his wife, Lushanya, have been married for 33+ years. Together they have one girl, two boys and five grandchildren. Family is of utmost importance to Antone. Both his own family and his Legacy family mean the world to him. Antone is excited and honored to serve the residents at Legacy House of Centennial Hills.
Cindy Bordner, Recreation Director
Cindy is originally from the Buckeye State. Growing up in Ohio, Cindy lived on a farm, near a small town, with her father, mother and six siblings--a real "mom and apple pie" life. Years later and after marrying, Cindy moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. After spending just a few years in Las Vegas, she moved to Charleston, South Carolina. While living there, Cindy developed a real love for the ocean and the rain. Nevertheless, in 2015, Cindy moved back to the Las Vegas desert and sunny weather. Cindy and her husband, Ric, have three sons; three beautiful daughter-in-law's; and three very cute grandchildren. She is also mom to two rescue labradors, Mattie and Luke. Cindy enjoys crocheting, photography and crafts of all sorts. Her love for crafts is especially evident at Legacy House of Centennial Hills where she enjoys both teaching residents new skills and encouraging others to participate again in hobbies they once enjoyed.
Bryant Bushman, Maintenance Chief
Bryant is a Las Vegas native, he went to Vo Tech High school for drafting and construction education. He moved to Boise, Idaho to attend BSU for a Marketing/Mid Management degree and later decided he enjoyed Vegas weather better and moved back. He became Chief Engineer for Clark County Library District and managed 29 building operations throughout the county and oversaw construction of many of the libraries in his 25 years of service. Bryant enjoys his family of two boys and two girls. Together they enjoy outdoor activities like ATV riding, camping and fishing. He is excited to be a part of the Legacy House community and looks forward to serving the residents and associates there.
